I just got home from Bandfest this afternoon/early evening. Tiffany. Tanya. Truly lovely gals. Lovely, lovely.

My 50mm f/1.8 canon lens came in the mail earlier this week... I am HAPPY! and oh so excited.

Today was extremely beautiful outside. Sunny, not below freezing.. It was great. And tomorrow is supposed to be beautiful as WELL! Ah, the weather makes or breaks my day. Yes, yes. So. Tomorrow. Photoshoot w/ Lauren. I am so, so excited to shoot somebody again, especially Lauren, my original, my guinea pig, my little lady. She recently cut almost all her hair off, so I'm really excited to shoot her with some different hair.

Jesse showed me a gorgeous place for photographing. It has water, piers, trees, open areas, red plants, a bulldozer at the moment.. ha. It's great, it really is.
Then I told him, "You show me things I never thought existed." And we giggled.
But it's true.

  1. The weather IS beautiful!! I took my bike out on the trail for the first time today, and tomorrow's going to be nicer yet!
Currently I'm reading Prey by Michael Crichton for my Nanotechnology class. I'm a lot like the main character, in the I always over think/ replay situations. So I still feel like I need to explain it.
Even last year I could look at the people in different groups and recognize at least half of them from being in Vanguard or being at BandFest with them and know from personal experience many of them are good. This year I looked at the list and maybe recognized 10 names- including the 4 from WLA. So I didn't know what to expect not knowing anyone in the group for really the first time. Also, we played Salvation is Created several years in Vanguard, and hearing songs from Vanguard replayed by others is always interesting/tough. I did enjoy the concert. Also, I don't give out any compliments if I don't like something, so the fact I said it was good, for me means more than most. I won't say that just to make people feel good. I don't know if you saw him, but Mr. K was also there and said he enjoyed the concert. So anyways, hope I didn't offend you with my light compliment after the concert.
    Are you free the 28th?

  2. No it didn't offend me at all. I just like giving you a hard time. Hehe.

And yes, I saw Mr. Kitzrow. We actually saw him in church that morning too, which was a beautiful surprise.

What's going on the 28th? I work on the weekends and usually three weekdays. And Saturday's I close, so that mean 4-12ish.
